Having to think of what content to create, how to create it, and the best time and day to post it on your social media can be OVERWHELMING for BUSY SALON OWNERS.
That’s why I wrote this article! I know your DILEMMAS and I want to MAKE THINGS EASY for salon owners.
Improve your Salon Instagram feed by creating a MOOD BOARD.
Include all DETAILS that are relevant to your salon–the COLOR SCHEME, PERSONALITY, FONTS, LOGOS, and your IDEAL CLIENTS and their personal/interests. Save it on your phone and on your cork board as a reminder.
Make sure that you REFERENCE it whenever you create content so that you will stay CONSISTENT!
You can create this on Canva or go old school and print out visuals and put together an actual board.
Put BALANCE in your salon Instagram feed and use an APP that will let you VISUALLY ARRANGE how your feed will look like with the content you have created.
Remember to even out texts and images.
Check your Instagram page—if it doesn’t look APPEALING, it’s time for an INSTAGRAM MAKEOVER!
Do not be afraid to DELETE CONTENT that won’t fit your AESTHETIC. It’s never too late to correct and improve.
You can check your mood board and replace the deleted content with an appropriate one.
Make sure to check posts and CAPTIONS.
Replace mediocre captions with more ENGAGING ones, and don’t forget to add CALL-TO-ACTIONS. Also, don’t forget your HASHTAGS!
Plan your salon’s SOCIAL MEDIA CALENDAR according to events like HOLIDAYS or SPECIAL OCCASIONS that are RELEVANT to your salon business.
You can also check your salon’s social media INSIGHTS to know when the BEST TIME to schedule your posts is.
This is a great way for busy salon owners like you to stay ON TOP of your social media management.
Social media management is not easy to learn especially when you have a lot on your hands.
It takes a lot of time and practice.
